islamic knowledge and civilazation...

green day.. em... why?? because i'm going to write here about knowledge... huahahua... i dont know.. why green look like knowldge.. might be one of th reason is green look fresh... and you guys make your own conclusion or else it will be another one big topic for me to discuss... after some time.. i got boring reading all those thing for my UNGS2040 course that i'm taking now for my short semester... then i decide to write sumthing about what have i read... before i go further.. i wud like you guys to know that.. being an atachment student is much more fun rather than be sitted and read books... huahahu.. no challenge at all.. i dont like to memorize thing.. i prefer understand it.. because i can make use full of it with the understanding and the idea will flow just like that... and no tension thing at all...
ok2 get back to our discussion.. what have i read for my test...

read about religon... knowledge and religion is actualy inter related with one another.. i dont know that what i think... huahauha... em.. there are 9 definion of religion define by many scholar either from encyclipedia of philosophy and from the islamic perspective... em.. i wonder how could i remeber all the definition.. so i made a conclusino it sum kind of revelation thing... all of the definition had stress more in believing God.. what differentiate each other is what kind of God they want to belive.. as in Islam oabsolutly strees on the concept of tawhid.. believe in one God Allah the almighty... only Him know everthing and the sources of everyhthing... some important points here is Islam encourage people to acquired knowledge and invent thing...

let define Islam in brief... em... which we know the origin word of Islam is derive from the word salama.. literaly mean safe and secure.. islam also means submission... so if we follow exactly the teaching of Islam then we will be in secure and in safe.. not only in the world but also in the hereafter...
thus come across what had my lecturer said about muslim.. person who has faith and piety is a good muslim but the one who does not have this is not exactly a good muslim.. meaning to say the iman will make a person be a good person then a good muslim...

then we move to the important of knowledge... as we discuss above.. seeking knowledge is encourage by Islam.. even the first verse tha revealed is stress more on knowledge rather than evertyhing... due to the reason that.. from knowledge we can be bless by many more good thing... and Allah also urges that acquired knowledge is a matter of duty... the hadith which u shoudl be acquiring knowledge since u are born till u are death.. and onther hadith said that it is an obligation for all muslim to acquired knowledge...on the other hand.. knowldge which are not been practisicng is useles... then i remeber one hadith and the meaning sound like this.. this one is the famous one.. knowledge which are with practice it is like a tree without fruits..

than.. the purpose of acquiring knowledge... some of the objective are.. to produce a good man, to identified the status of the man,to be able man disinguih between right and wrong and the most importantn thing is to establsihed justice and rightnoes...

actualy there are lot more to say about this but i just make it short...
then i move to the topic title episemology... what is actualy that mean???
i wonder.. i never heard that before.. actualy it is a branches of philosophy whic stdy about knowledge.. the nature, scope and origin of it..
so i cant say much about it.. because.. i'm not realy understand what is it actualy until i finished read this topic and i shud first compared it with the western perspective... em.. it think i should stop and continue on reading about it.. so will be continue...
